distil和distill在实用是“一毛一样”的！为什么，其实是因为美国人是出了名的懒...这个单词原本只有一个，也就是distill，但由于这个单词本身音标来说两个“l"其实是只发一个”l“的音，而且即使少了一个l基本构造也是合理的，也不会受到影响，所以能懒一点就懒一点的美国人干脆就去掉了一个l，所以这个这个单词只存在于美式英语里头，英国人比较传统和保守的，所以在他们的词典里是没有这个单词的。不过如果是在比较正规的报告或者论文之类的书面文书，那么美国人也会用”distill“而不是”distil“，不然就显得不够严谨了。
